HOLY WEEK

Tuesday, March 30th

The Chrism Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 31, at 4:00PM at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains. Parishioners are welcome to take part in this unique Holy Week liturgy.

There will be NO Exposition, Benediction, and Confessions at Holy Angels due to the Chrism Mass in Cincinnati.

5:00-5:45PM Confessions, 6:00PM Mass will still happen at St. Michael on Tuesday, March 31.

Wednesday, April 1st - Tenebrae Service

Join us at 7:30pm on Wednesday, April 1st for a Tenebrae Service at Sacred Heart of Jesus. Tenebrae (“shadows” or “darkness”) is a Holy Week service that is at least 1,000 years old. Originally held in after midnight but later held at a variety of times, Tenebrae would be sung each day of the Triduum in a church lit only by 15 candles. These were extinguished one by one until the church was left in darkness.
