Liturgical ministries

Lectors

The primary purpose of the lector is to proclaim the Word of the Lord at the Sunday liturgies. In addition to being on a rotating schedule for the weekend Masses, lectors may be requested to read at "special liturgies" or "prayer services" throughout the year. Yearly workshops are held to train new lectors and promote the spiritual development of the reading ministry. If interested contact the St. Joseph, Pillar of Families Parish offices.
